Driven to Espresso: Drive-through Coffee Stands in the Northwest

If you think coffee culture is cool, you have come to the right place. I have loads of information and opinions to share about espresso in the Pacific Northwest, especially the drive-through phenomenon.

A drive-through not built for mobility

Although this image does not appear in Driven to Espresso, it's one of the more curious drive-throughs to me. Notice the extremely heavy-duty concrete lower half. I don't know what this building was originally built for, but I'm willing to bet it was not for a drive-through coffee stand. The phone number I have for it is disconnected, so I assume it has gone out of business. It was called Black Hills Coffee and I found it in Aberdeen, Washington, between Boone and Curtis streets.
